This blog was once used to put up all of my photos for Media Photo II. But since the darn thing has my first and last name, I probably shouldn't give it up seeing as how I fully know there's another Megan Sheridan in Mequon, and probably a couple more in the state and I'd be afraid they'd take it and I could never have it back if I wanted it.
So, perhaps something new.
I had the sweetest thing happen to me today which I will most likely never forget. While shooting West girls practice, I stopped and talked to a girl sitting on the sidelines which just happened to be the teams manager. I checked some names of some mugshots with her and then asked her if she played basketball and some other random musings about Oshkosh West sports. She then tells me that she really likes photography too, especially sports photos. She mentions to me that last football season she saw this photo of a football player and his friend hugging after a game (She knew their names, which I cant remember). She said that the back ground was really cool and that it was one of her favorite photos ever, and that sometimes she goes and looks it up online.
A wave of warmth came across my face, perhaps I blushed. And I couldn't hold the words in. "That was my photo!" and then I told her all about the game and the experience and the photo, which I blurted out in a matter of minutes because I was so excited.
As much as I love all the positive feedback I get from friends and family, it's really heartwarming to have a perfect stranger say they love one of your photos. This one right here.
